BASIC FLEXO SEMINAR

This three-day seminar is ideal for beginning press operators, in addition to other individuals who are interested in learning the basic principles and practices of flexography. From start to finish, this seminar provides participants with an education in the fundamental theories behind the Flexographic printing process and exposes them to the hands-on operation of the press. Active demonstrations and hands-on press operations will guide the discussion of topics including applications & advantages of Flexographic printing; correlations between Flexographic inks, solvents & common substrates; basic color separation principles of two-four spot color; close registration jobs; and plate making, mounting & press operations. As with all DiTrolio Flexographic Institute courses, this seminar will impress upon students the importance of press safety and environmental concerns.
