NEW TECHNOLOGY CENTER WILL BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN NARROW AND MID-WEB CONVERTING DITROLIO FLEXOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE PARTNERS WITH CMM June 4-7, 2007 Donald E. Stephens Convention Center Rosemont, Il USA To help converters from around the world better understand how they can combine both narrow and mid-web converting technologies, CMM and DiTrolio Flexographic Institute have teamed up to create this "First-Ever" Technology Center on the show floor at CMM International 2007. In addition to showcasing the latest narrow and mid-web technology, several conference sessions will focus on how converters can combine both technologies. CMM 2007 is the premier educational forum for the worldwide converting and package printing marketplace and the place to find state-of-the-art technologies and solutions, both in the conference rooms and on the trade show floor.Narrow to Mid-Web Technology Center The new Narrow to Mid-Web Technology Center will feature operating equipment from leading manufacturers producing actual jobs on the show floor all four days of the event. An expected attendance of more than 15,000 converting professionals will be able to see various jobs being produced using both narrow and mid-web equipment. Participants include presses, inspection systems, rotary die, materials (inks, stocks), RFID and more! The new Technology Center fills a void in the marketplace, says Jim Enos, CMM Show Director and Vice President of PennWell Corporation. Although there are shows where converters can see narrow web technology and other shows focus on mid-web, this new Technology Center will bridge the gap between narrow and mid-web printing and converting. Enos adds that the new Technology Center also was created in response to attendees requests to see more running equipment on the show floor. In addition to creating a variety of new pricing packages to help exhibitors bring more running equipment to CMM, we have created two new Technology Centers that will feature jobs being printed and converted from raw material to finished products. |
